I hold the record of 79 hours of hardcore Starlancer deathmatch. Some guy tried to beat my record but gave up at 48 yours =D

ok it now says:
"You have been playing for 1 day. Please take a break"

I wonder if it will say "1 day and x hours" or just like it says in guild roster: "1 day" no matter if it's 1 day and 1 hour or 1 day and 23 hours.

I checked my friendslist to see what was going on and it said: "you are disconnected from the friends server, please reconnect by clicking the thing below" (something like that)

I wanted to tell others what just happened but then my entire screen became greyer and I got a message telling me that my login had expired and that I had to login again. It showed a small window with logininformation.

This happened right on the 24hour mark of me being online.

I'm going to wait and see if it says "you have been playing for 25 hours" soon.
If it starts from 1 again then eh , meh..
Hi

I dont think this was anything to do with the 24 hour mark being reached, because me and a friend ahd the exact same problem when we had only just started playing.

If anet wanted to scare people they'd say:

"You have been playing for too long now, your penis will now shrink"

I bet you everyone will log off right away.

lol nice thread, I suspect that apart from the popular belief that ANet cares about your health after you had played a set amount of time, its also an easier way to keep a tab on accounts that are played 24/7 *hint, hint*

No, there's no kicking off the servers. Have you not noticed that when you're in game, you're asked, once in a while, to re-enter your password? There's no kicking going on there, either. We either have the standard "re-enter your password" message or someone's playing in PhotoShop again. I'm not sure, but is that even the right font?

i just think its shit... like they want me to stop playing..

you have been playing for 4 hours, please take a break.
well f*** you ^^

rather just have a clock somewhere in my screen.

also it would help if they kept the messege and ever hour you get a small messege wich is saying you need to click on .. you have a 5 min timer else you get kicked ^^

would help against those lame farm bots walking around in droks...

its are [baby] 's

you've gotta be joking.........

no where do they say you HAVE to stop playing, it's there to remind you that there is more to life then Guild Wars. (which i haven't found anything better in Real-Life..)

a messagebox of you have to click a certain button?... that would be more annoying then this.. imagine you go afk while in a group of guildies, come back and find out you were disconnected cause you were making a Pizza...

a clock would be nice though...

I really hope they will give an option to remove that reminder or i`ll seriously consider moving to a country where I can sue them for this. J/K.

But I still think it's annoying for the simple fact that you can't disable it. I can see someone takink a screenshot and that idiot message popping up right when he click PrintScr.

And for those who keep telling people to get a life. Do you guys have a life? Do you care?

the only problem i see with if they did kick sum1 off.
ur in hoh, there are no good guilds or pugs on (something must be wrong with their net connections)
you hold halls for a considerably long time, or gaining fame fast.
hey pestro you get kicked...
i dont think anet would be that harsh.
way to many hoh teams would complain
